Partners
In 1996 Friends of the Cedar River Watershed (FCRW) began as a public/private partnership. We spent our early days collaborating and partnering with Seattle Public Utilities to generate community support and enthusiasm for the construction of the Cedar River Watershed Education Center.
Today, that same drive for collaboration and partnership defines each one of our programs. With the participation of groups such as the Girl Scouts, churches, REI, King County Water and Land Resources Division, and peer nonprofits, FCRW continues to prioritize and leverage the amazing breadth of knowledge and passion of our partners, and we turn those passions into tangible actions that make our rivers and lakes cleaner, and our neighbors more committed to sound ecological systems. Simply put, FCRW doesn’t exist without its partners.
