Cedar River Watershed Institute Programs

The Cedar River Watershed Institute is a joint effort of the Friends of the Cedar River Watershed and Seattle Public Utilities. We are thrilled to offer an array of learning opportunities for you and your children to learn about your watershed.  We cater to life-long learners and offer training opportunities for teachers.

The current program year includes explorations of archaeology, interpretive hikes, and opportunities to learn about myriad plants and creatures that call the watershed home.  In response to a request for more kid-friendly offerings, the Cedar River Watershed Institute has expanded its campfire program to four events this year.

Stay tuned to our events calendar page for listings of upcoming events and programs offered by the Cedar River Watershed Institute.

The 2007 Cedar River Watershed Institute Program Catalog is currently available! You can view a PDF version of the program catalog from the Seattle Public Utilities web site. To receive a free hard copy of the current program catalog, please send your request to crwprograms@seattle.gov and include your mailing address.

To register for programs or request more information, contact the Education Center at (206) 233-1515 or crwprograms@seattle.gov.
